Health Program in our Cattery

The health of our animals is very important to us. Therefore, all of our
breeding animals are tested for HCM gene, PKD, PKDef, SMA, FXI, FIV and FelV, as well as ultrasounded for HCM and PKD.

The liver and abdomen are also examined using ultrasound.

A blood group is also determined.

The regular HCM ultrasound is of course also unavoidable for us and is
only found in Dr. Christel Schinner-Peters, a Pawpeds certified animal
cardiologist instead, because a heart ultrasound is just as important to
us as the genetic test!

In addition, our breeding animals are x-rayed for HD, as well as spinal
anomalies, and PL and ED is examined.

Our breeding animals are all tested negative on Colourpoint!

Only animals are used for breeding that are without any abnormalities
in ALL areas. You are welcome to view all test and examination results
from us. All of our cats are of course vaccinated against cat cold,
cat disease, chlamydia and rabies as well as free of FIV and leukosis.

We do regular tests of collective faecal samples in the laboratory for endoparasites 
and giardia! All our tests have been negative.

The health of our animals is a top priority. Therefore, they are looked
after by a multi-professional team, which is available to us day and
night.
